M150 – SINGH

This commercial is part of a series of commercial for M150, telling the lives of successful people.This commercial is about Ajarn Singh, a designer famous for his furnitures created for old wood.

On this commercial I had the opportunity to be Artistic Director. The Director gave me complete freedom on the design of the shots. One big constraint coming from the product client is the boundary surrounding the actor. It is the symbol of the education and expectations from other people that keep him from doing amazing stuff. Once the boundary is broken, he is free from doing creative furniture.

The commercial was shot in studio, with green screen. A big pile of wood was layered in front and behind the actor. Additional wood extension and flying wood were done in CG.
